There's no strong need for a "real" set of fanwork guidelines as of yet, but I do get questions somewhat frequently about what's okay and what's not. Consider these some very general placeholder guidelines that, if nothing else, get the spirit of things across. It's all pretty boilerplate.
In most cases, if you're an individual who wants to make fanart, fanfiction, or anything like that, you're fine.
If you're following the local law, not trying to make a profit, and are creating something wholly your own, you can share it.
If you'd like to make charms, zines, prints, or other physical merchandise, you can sell it at hobby scale (ie, in-person, at conventions, and in made-to-order batches).
Don't attempt to impersonate me or anyone else on the team, don't attempt to pass off fanworks as official, and don't try to harm others.
